About the role

We are looking for a seasoned Product Manager to define, build and improve financial services that offer a compelling customer experience and deliver measurable value for the business. You will be the single threaded leader of your assigned domain who will understand customer needs, and deliver product market fit in a commercially viable manner. You will be working closely with a dedicated engineering squad to deliver and improve products, and engage with other people across the firm to align requirements and plans.

As a member of a small product team, you will help set the product vision, identify new opportunities for Clim8 and execute with pace and quality, as we shift from launch to scale. You will report to the Chief Product Officer.

  • Define the product strategy and roadmap that will help your squad accomplish your OKRs and deliver the company’s strategy
  • Understand the strategic and competitive positioning of our product, and define how new features will generate value for customers, the climate and the company

  • Identify and track the right metrics to ensure product success and drive decisions
  • Build strong relationships with different stakeholders across the company to gather requirements, gain insights and create support to deliver product goals; be transparent and create mutual trust and accountability

About you:

  • 4+ years of demonstrable experience as a Product Manager (preferably in financial services like investments, savings, credit or transaction banking, or other highly regulated B2B or B2B2C sector)
  • Experience launching and improving new products at startups or scale ups, or similar background in larger more established organisations
  • Able to translate a product backlog into development-ready work, e.g. epics, user stories, acceptance criteria; able to map customer journeys and process flows, including edge cases
  • Able to analyse customer needs, pain points and test hypotheses of customer behaviour in quantifiable and non-quantifiable ways; experience with A/B testing is a bonus
  • Commercially savvy – able to build business cases and assess net value, returns, viability and trade-offs
  • High sense of ownership and accountability – transparent, listens, doesn’t let ego get in the way, creates trust
  • Good judgement and decision making – with own tasks, with a team’s work, when engaging internal and external stakeholders; able to consider same issue from different perspectives
  • Comfortable working in a fast-changing, ambiguous environment; able to self-direct, get hands-on, find practical solutions and keep improving things; resilient, won’t give up easily
  • Willing to take calculated risks, learning from it and having the courage to try again
  • Collaborative, team player; helps others, leads by example; a sense of humour also helps
  • Curious, always wants to dive deep to find root cause, healthily sceptical of the obvious, never stops learning
  • Familiar working with agile frameworks like Scrum or Kanban, especially with engineers and operations staff
  • Experience working with both Mobile (Android, IOS) and Web channels is strongly preferred
  • You want to help make the world a better place, but are realistic enough to know it will be difficult and are prepared to give it a serious shot
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant subject is highly desirable

  • Flexible working
  • 25 days’ holiday
  • Pension
  • Birthdays off
  • A diverse and inclusive culture
  • Be part of a movement to make a better future!
